How the Process Really Works
Client Criteria Planning / Strategy Placement Meeting
Our first step will be to meet with the client’s hiring authority or Human Resources department to establish the criteria, plan a recruiting strategy, formulate future steps & set objectives/deadlines for evaluating candidates. We will identify professionals and companies who meet our clients' needs and cultural environment. Our objective will be to develop a profile of the "perfect hire." Endeavor develops job descriptions and identifies key elements of the search process that must be met before starting any assignment.
Conducts Research Target Companies
Depending on the complexity of the search, Endeavor will develop a list of potential companies which have the highest probability of employing candidates who possess our clients' job requirements. Since Endeavor's search team consists of industry-related staffing specialists, we will be able to quickly identify these companies and target qualified candidates for recruiting. Each search is conducted under the rule of "fresh search process" vs. pulling the candidates from a file. We use specially geo- targeting and tracking software that researches and isolates sources target companies for recruiting purposes. & National
Use Regional Networking & Search Process
ENDEAVOR carefully qualifies all of the professional matches from our assignment criteria as well as candidates from our extensive database. The networking process involves extensive networking of industry contacts with key executives within the clients' industry and databases, including the use of a national network of peer firms. Endeavor employs the use of a nine-step recruitment process to achieve the highest quality search results.
Interview Process
ENDEAVOR's staff conducts extensive interviews to obtain in-depth information from candidates to evaluate work history, track record of career successes, management styles, general interests, and other criteria. We weigh this information & validate it with the search criteria previously established data. We verify & check candidates' employment history prior to submission to our clients. Endeavor provides our clients with a realistic pro-and-con professional assessment of the candidate’s skill levels, short & long term hiring indicators, and personality.
Presentation of Qualified Candidates
Our company only presents qualified candidates who meet or exceed our clients' requirements. Traditionally, three to five candidates are presented. This will be accomplished within one week of acceptance of the assignment. Endeavor doesn't subscribe to the “throw mud against the wall & see if it sticks” method. We only submit the most highly qualified candidates, who we would hire ourselves.
Setting up Interviews/Feedback
Our staff coordinates all interviews. We obtain feedback throughout the process. We ensure that professional contact is maintained & that the candidate's interest level is evaluated & we keep in communication with the client at all times.
First & Secondary References
ENDEAVOR will contact all appropriate immediate supervisors to obtain in-depth evaluations of each finalist. We evaluate all relevant criteria specific to each position based on the original search criteria. In some cases Endeavor will conduct secondary reference checks, based on client request. All information received is kept confidential.
Negotiates and Present Offer
ENDEAVOR is a resource to clients. Our organization is an extension of the clients' HR department, acting as a negotiator if needed, presenting the offer to the selected candidate & ensuring a completed understanding of the clients' hiring terms & conditions of the offer. Our company will offer the client the ability to review a job offer letter or an employment contact before the offer is extended. Endeavor works closely with the candidate to evaluate the career considerations & through the offer-acceptance process. We feel that our clients sell themselves very well, so Endeavor's role is to make sure both parties make educated business & career planning decisions.
Service & follow up after the placement
Once an offer is accepted, we will follow through with the candidate in a timely manner. This includes career guidance & sound direction to work as a liaison with the client and the candidate. We check with our client several times during the first ninety days of employment, & twice with the candidate to see how the transition process is going. In addition, the client will receive a survey on the process to get customer Insight & gauge satisfaction.
